THE WEATHER.
The Government Meteorologist wires at noon to-day as follows The indications are for modei*ate to strong westerly winds, backing by west to south. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy and cooler weather, but a few isolated showers probable. The barometer has a rising tendency. Seas moderate, tides poor.
