VALEDICTORY.
ADJUTANT AND MRS GREY FA REWELLED.
There was a good attendance at the Salvation Army Hall last evening, on the occasion of a farewell to Adjutant and Mrs Grey, who leave to-morrow on transfer to Taumarunui.
Speakers during the evening were:—Mr Wislinowsky (SergeantMajor) ; Mr Burns (Treasurer); Mrs Brown (on behalf of the Home League); Miss Ella Hutchins (on behalf of the young people); and the Rev. McDonald (Methodist Minister), all of whom referred to the good work carried out by Adjutant and Mrs Grey during their residence .in Foxton and expressed the hope that they would find happiness in their new sphere of life.
During the evening much appreciated items were contributed as follows: Solo: Airs Riches; duet: Mrs Wislinowsky and Miss Ella Hutchins; organ solo: May Wislinowskv.
A, tasty supper was dispensed hv the young people and was thoroughly enjoyed by all present. Adjutant and Mrs Grey will he succeeded in Foxton by Captain and Airs Reid.
