FOXTON FIRE BRIGADE FOOTBALL CLUB
WEEKLY EUCHRE AND DANCE The weekly euchre and dance, organised by the committee of the Fire Brigade Football Club, was held on Tuesday evening. There was an excellent attendance and a most enjoyable time was spent by those present. Prizes for the euehre were as follows : Ladies: Mrs Small 1; Mrs E. Bills 2; Mrs Tokf 3. Gents: Mr J. Hirini 1; Mr R. Holley 2; Mr T. Carter 3. Lucky Gay Gordons: Mr W. D. Neville and Mrs D. Ellwood. The following items were greatly appreciated: Song, Miss R. Thompson; song with nkelele accompaniment, Mr R. Read. Music for dancing was supplied by Messrs T. Carter and R. Nicholson, extras being played, by Miss I. Neville and Mrs Baker. A iMonte Carlo was won by Mr T. Carter and Mrs Taylor. The euchre will be held on the usual Monday night next week.
