PERSONAL.
Mr and Mrs W. Robson returned home last evening from a holiday trip in the Taranaki and Wellington Advic; has been received in Wellington of the death at sea of Mr Edward Vivian Riddiford, of Gleriburn and Tablelands, Wairarapa, aged 55. Deceased was returning by the Rangitikei from a trip to England. He was a prominent pastoralist, and was well known in i*acing circles, being a member of a family whose Turf association is a part of the history of sporting in New Zealand.
