“FREE FOR ALL” COMPETITION
WHO IS FOXTON’S OLDEST AND CONTINUOUS BUSINESS MAN? Mr. W. Kirkland’s “free for all” competition, with the object- of ascertaining who is to claim the honour (and, incidentally, the sum of 5/-) of the longest period of continuous business in Foxton, is creating’ a good deal of interest. The previous wording of the competition in our last issue was somewhat ambiguous as it did not make it clear as to whether the prize was to he awraded to the oldest business man or the business man who had been in continuous business for the longest'' period. The latter is to be the decidingpoint. Already several claims to the honour are to hand and we will publish the winner in our next issue.
