ALL SAINTS’ HOME
ANNUAL GIFT DAY. On .Saturday next, October 13th, the twenty-eighth Birthday Party of All Saints’ Children’s Home, will take place at Palmerston North. The Home was opened in Octobej 1906, when the Rev. C. C. Harper was Vicar of the Parish. Many children have passed through the Home since, and it has been of the /greatest blessing to those who have been left orphans with no one to care for them.
An opportunity is afforded local and district people to show their practical sympathy with the institution hv forwarding gifts, which will he conveyed free of charge by Messrs Madge Bros. The Matron (Mrs Bain), who is, indeed, a, true mother in the Home, knows exactly what she needs and she has sent us a list of the things that will he of the greatest service, as follows: —
