FATALLY WOUNDED.
Wanganui, September 6.
Hearing the report of a firearm from a small bootmaker’s shop, 98 Glasgow Street, Wanganui, occupied by Vincent Arthur Greenside, about 2 p.m. to-day, a resident tried the shop dooi’, but found it locked. On gaining entrance he found Greenside with a discharged .303 rifle by his side.
The injured man" Avas taken by ambulance to the Wlanganui Hospital, where he died 2 hours later. Greenside Avas a single man. 35 years of age and lived Avith his mother and brother next to the shop.
