WELLINGTON, June 30. ; The Right Hon. Mr Massey stated to-day-that he had cabled to'the Imperial authorities and ■ ther British press particulars of the quantity of meat in store in New Zealand and the.-quantity expected to be in store before next season begins, in order that fullest publicity may be given to the facts. There are three and a quarter million carcases in store now, and in two or. three weeks the total wilY approxhnate four ft' millions. Thisjactioh was taken'to impress. on the, Imperial authorities the' urgent necessity for providing increased tonnage to relieve the congestion.
