ANTI-SHOUTING MOVEMENT.
SYDNEY, June 29. Mr Hughes, is sympathetic in his attitude towards the suggested antishouting legislation on New Zealand lines. In the meantime he will consult Cabinet as to whether it is a^ question for the States or the Commonwealth to deal with.
The New South Wales Cabinet has decided that.-lean expenditure for next year shall not exceed £5,000,000 and wilh be kept as much below as possible. Only absolutely essential works will be carried out.
