NEW SERIAL STORY.

The proprietors "of The Express . have made arrangements for the; publication in .this"-journal of a splen- \ did serial story by A. Wilson Barrett, ; entitled "The Blue Taxi." A young American, the idol of a fond lather : who is also head of the Ham Trust, j disapproving of the old man's fotiisiness methods, refuses to go back from j England (wherfc lie has been ' educated) to join-the Trust, and says some hard things about it. His father retorts with an ultimatum— ' "Trust or. Bust," The son chooses the later alternative, but determines ' to go down with colors .flying. So he becomes a taxi-driver. His adven- ■ tures form the basis of a delightful story. In the end he and his father , are reconciled in a dramatic manner, j and he also wins the girl of his heart, who has also captured his father's. , The first instalment of this story will . appear in to-morrow's issue, and it ; will be continued every Saturday and "Wednesday. !
