MOTOR-CAR ACCIDENT.

PALMERSTQN NORTH, June 16. A serious accident occurred late on Saturday night. Two young men named McGulloch, of Hawke's Bay, and Pratt, of Palmerstoh, were proceeding to T'ratt's home .at Fitzherbert. y The motor-car in which they were 'driving _ overturned when preparing to negotiate a steep hill. The car was 'badly wrecked. " Pratt's skull was .fractured and he had several ribs 'broken. "He was taken to the hospital in an unconscious condition. McCullodh escaped serious injury. • -
