* NELSON, June 14. Torrential rain, with a heavy gale, prevailed last night. Glass .houses were blown down, and also three large pine trees opposite the post office, blocking Trafalgar Street. The bell-buoy broke away from its moorings, and became stranded on the Tahuna Sands.
