Letitia Broad was convicted of abandoning a baby she had adopted at Wanganui, with a recommendation to mercy. The Judge refused probation, and deferred sentence. . , Later. In the Supreme Court this morning Mr. Justice Chapman ordered Letitia Broad, who is. a young married woman, to come up for sentence when called upon.
