RIFLE SHOOTING.

The Sounds D.R.C. were again successful in defending the Hunter Cup against a team from the Ronga Club on Saturday last. A very tricky south-east wind was, blowing on the range, rendering good scoring'rather difficult. Apparently the Sounds Club are not desirous of losing possession of the pup, as this is the fourth match they have won in succession in. connection with this trophy. The following are the scores registered in the match, which was won by 50 points:—-
