THE UNIONISTS AND THE FINE. [press association.] AUCKLAND, May 11. In the Arbitration Court this morning, the H6nf. J. A. Tole, Cr6wn Solicitor, moved for an order to enforce against the members of the Blackball Union the fine made against the Union itself on the 12th March, or for such- an order as the Court might think fit to make. Mr Tole said ,that the; order he asked the Court, to make < was that' -the individual members should / be ordered to pay the amount of the fine, provided "that no member be liable to pay m,dre than £10; that the said members within a week of the making of tile order be notified of the effect of it, either through1 the secretary of the union of workers or by advertisement published in Greymouth, and that in default or within so many .days of that notification a certificate of the order be forwarded to the magistrate at Greymouth to the end that such proceedings might be taken according to law. The Blackball Union were not represented. His Honour intimated thati the Court would" consider the matter and advise Mr Tole.
