This morning it cleared somewhat, but j a southerly drizzle is still falling. The Volunteers went into camp on Thursday night, preparatory to the manoeuvres for Easter training. The chief proceedings are on Monday, when a force supposed to have landed on the mainland near Mana Island will make a raid on Wellington. The defending force are encamped at Jbhnsonville, and will move to repel the attack. The Garrison Artillery are in charge of the forts guarding the harbour, with a. view to annihilating; any hostile cruisers attempting to force an entrance. All the arrangements are on a more elaborate scale than at any previous encampment.
