At the inquest on Catherine Hollier, who died on Wednesday while under chloroform, a verdict was returned that no blame was attachable to anyone. , Dr Collins said that in his opinion the cause of death was inhibition of the heart's action, accelerated by the deceased's nervous condition, rather than the anaesthetic. The Coroner said that it appeared to be one of those cases where death aid occur, despite all, reasonable and [ proper precautions having been taken.
