BATTLEFIELDS OF QUEBEC.
THE PUBLIC PARK PROPOSAL. [rousss association.] (Received April 18, 8.45 a.m.) LONDON, April 17. Five es-Goverhors General of Canada propose that the British public should subscribe a quarter of a million sterling towards the Dominion's scheme to convert the battlefields of Quebec into a public park. * A preliminary meeting held at the Mansion House was well supported. The Lord Mayor said that no doubt the appeal would be successful.
