[press association.] (Received Sept. 25, 1.9 p.m.) LONDON, Sept. 24. The wool sales have opened briskly, at par to 5 per cent, advance. The wheat and flour afloat for the United Kingdom is 2,070,000 quarters; for the Continent 1,550,000 quarters; Atlantic shipments 424,000 quarters.
Bank shares: Bank of Australasia, buyers £98, sellers £99; others unchanged. Copper £65 15s per ton, electrolytic £/0; tin, spot £170 10s, three months £166 ss; lead £21.
