BLENHEIM WOOL AND SKINS SALE.
Messrs Levin and Co. report as follows regarding yesterday's sale: — "We held our six-weekly sale to-day, offering a large catalogue of skins, wool Slid hides to an increasing attendance of buyers, whose bids were keen and spirited, and satisfactory prices were realised. We quote: — Skins: Richmond Brook merino halfwool 8d; dead and broken merino 7d to 7-jd; Leefield merino wethers and ewes 9d; Flaxbourne merino crossbred 9id; butchers' skins 9d to lOd; halfbreds B|d to lOd, crossbreds 8d to 9-Jd; pelts Is to Is 6d. Wool: Crutchings, 4jd to 6£d; merino pieces, 4d to 6d; clippings, '7d; Leefield crutchings, 6fd. Rabbit skins: Good winter, lOd; inferior, 8d to 9"d. Fat: Rough 7d, 17s 9d cwt. Hides: Steer; 13s 6d to 18s 6d; cow, 11s 3d to 16s 3d.
