LONDON WOOL SALES.

The N.Z. L. and M.A. Co M Ltd., are in receipt of the following cable advice from their London office dated yesterday: — Wool.—The sales opened with spirit. Quotations are about the same for crossbred, although somewhat irregular. Since close of last sales greasy crossbred lambs are |d to Id higher, and merino greasy Jd higher. The opening catalogue contained merino, but was not a representative one.

Messrs Levin and Co.'s London agents cable as follows regarding wool sales opening on 24th September: — ■" Market opened. Good competition. Merinos advanced five to ten per cent; finest crossbred 7\ per cent; others steady."
