RESTORING A HEAVY FINE.

The Assembly adopted a Select Committee's recommendation that a fine of £500 be restored to Mr Schorman, a member of the House, who during the war was sentenced to six months imprisonment for not furnishing information of the enemy's movements. He protested his innocence.
