OPENING THE SEASON AT PICTON.
The Picton Clab opened its season on Saturday with a' pick-up match, the new captain, Mr Seymour Fell, and ex-captain, Mr Watty, choosing sides. The wicket was rather heavy for any smart play, and as the ex-captain forgot to choose good bowlers as well as good batters the trundlers won, and the new captain scores the first win of the season. ,
