Tho initial visit of the Moana to Vancouver was marked by a luncheon given by Captain Carey to a number of the leading citizens of Vancouver.
The Mayor, the American Consul, and Sir Charles Tapper (Leader of the Opposition in tho Canadian House of Commons) were present. The Mayor proposed the health of tho captain and success to the Union Steamship Com-
pany.
