Tlie statement in the Duke's Dunedin speech that Dunedia stands unique in sending nurses to the war is questioned by the local Secretary of the St.John A»«U«T.»no« Aecr,ni a tlnM,..«,Whb" states that Canterbury led the way in sending nurses, as six left Lyltelfon in January last year and flvo are .still in Africa. Canterbury nursos arrived in Africa before the Duncdin nurses left the Colony.
