THE WAIMEA PLAINS RAILWAY.
(united pkess association.) Dcnbdin, Oct 25. At a meeting of the Wairaea Plains Railway Company it was deoided to wind it up voluntarily and sell the Company's laud. The Chairman, Mr Wales, saidtho loss to individual shareholders when this was done would be £1 18s per share, a not very encouraging result to those who had tried to open up the country.
