The increase of members to ninety-one, telegraphed to you yesterday, whb exclusive of Maori members, thus briuging the whole number np to ninety-five. On the basis of distribution m the South Island, correctly given you yesterday, this leaves one additional European member to be allotted to the .North Island. The Ministers, I am told, consider Hawka's Bay has the best claims.
