POLAR AEROPLANE.
Captain Amundsen has Hxraght a Maurice Farman aeroplane for his Polar expedition next year. The explorer has already: made flights. The machine, piloted by Captain Jacobsen, left Paris, for Norway by air on May 20. For the expedition the landing wheels iwill be rep!laoed by skis to enable the aeroplane to start from the ice.
