VICTORIA'S IMMIGRANTS.

COMPLAINT IN LONDON. BY ELECTRIC TELEGK AriI.—COPYRIGHT. PER UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION. Received January 26, 10.50 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 25. The emigration agents complain of I the refusal of the Victorian Government to accept agricultural laborers under the land settlement scheme unless possessed of £IOO, which they claim inflicts hardship, particularly on those who were promised loans which are now refused. Immigrants are now arriving in Victoria in a steady stream, mainly as a result of the Mead-McKenzie irrigation delegation. Steamers due to arrive this month have on board delegation families comprising about 450 people, and also about 150 assisted immigrants. Thousands of copies of "Victoria, the Garden State," are to be forwarded to the United States and Canada. "" ' - 1 ■
