| A SUDDEN TIDAL WAVE. ' TEN MEN~DROWNED. Received July 23, 8.35 a.m. NEW YORK, July 22. The rising of a sudden wavg overwhelmed and drowned 10 anglers who were engaged in terrapiii (species of tortoise) fishing at Galveston pier, on the Gulf of Mexioa.
