(Per Press Association). Dunedin, Feb 23. A man named Delnot was charged with stealing £1 at the Racecourse from a man named Davies. It appeared tho latter in p issing L2 to a friend to put on the to’alisa'or dropped them and accused picked them up, hut only passed one on. The case was dismissed. The i h a-go agamst William Manning of being in possession of three gallons of whisky on which duty had i ot been paid was dismissed to-day, as the evidence went to show that the premises did not belong to Manning. It was intimated that a fresh charge would ho laid undor the Customs Law Consolidation Act.
