Champion Wrestling Match.
(Per Press Association.) Dunedin, Jan 22. A wrestling match for the five-ftfyle championship took pi,-ice last between Georg- - ' Rolvrtson, the half-caste, and Harry liunn, bi f Tea large audience. In the collar-and-elbuw .style Robertson g viued a fall, after an obstinate struggle. In the Lancashire catch-as-catch-ean Dunn, after a lot of grand wrestling, got a hummoriock and turned his big opponent fairly over. In the Cumberland, which followed, it was thought that Dunn would have all the advantage, but in endeavoring to cross - buttock he was unable to get away, and Robertson bore him down, throwing him fairly on his side. Dunn was awarded a fall in a very doubtful one in the Lancashire side-hold, and points were theu even. The deciding fall, in the Graeco-Roman style, was hotly contested There was some dissatisfaction with the judging, many averring that Robertson had secured the fall, but it was disallowed, and Dunn secured an undeniable fall, and thus won the matoh. There was a bitter contest during the evening for a prize for Graeco-Roman wrestling botweon J. Dunn (the ohampion’s brother) and Hudson, and a good deal of ill-feeling was shown, each man working with such determination to get a strangling hold that the referee had to interfere. At the finish of the big matoh they rushed at each other and began fighting in real earnest, but the curtain was promptly lowered and the men separated.
