THE SMALL POX THE DIBBS-JENNINGS ROW (Reuter’s Telegrams.) Sydney, Saturday. One of the smallpox patients at the quarantine ground has died The correspondence between Mr Dibbs and Sir Patrick Jenning« is at present the principal topic of conversation in the city. Mr Dibbs further accused the Premier of holding a brief for the Chief Inspector of Accounts, and says, “ You have for mouths past been engaged, almost to the exclusion of all your dutie- as Treasurer in building up the office of Premier out of the attempted wreck of that of Colonial Secretary, with the result that everything is now in confusion and disorganisation.”
