RURAL CREDIT Mcrrinsville Association’s Year The eighth annual report of the Morrinsville Co-operative Kural Intermediate Credit Association, Ltd., held this week, states that the present number of members of the association is 101, or which 56 are borrowers at the present time. “ The past year has been more favourable for the business of the association in that .higher prices for dairy products has engendered a more confident spirit among farmers, who have been attracted to the association by the relatively cheap finance available,” states the report. “A reasonable number of new loans have been granted during the year, and it is now more plain than ever that the association is an integral /part in the farm finance, schemes of , ? this district.” ‘ ■ ■
During fhe year Mr. G. H. Pirrit, a j foundation member of the association and chairman of directors, found it necessary to resign his sedt through removal from the district. The association records its appreciation pf Mr. Pirrit’s valued help. The directors at present' are Messrs. J. H., Gjaddes, F. C. Kennedy, A. 0. Clark and F. J. Moore. The director retiring by rotation is Mr. F. C. Kennedy, who offers himself for reelection.
