MR. COULTER’S ADVICE Dealing With “ Road Hogs ” <* In the regulation of transport Mr. Semple had taken vigorous steps to reduce the loss of life on the highways, said Mr. R. Coulter, M.P., in his. address to the Morripsville Chamber of Commerce. “ I feel we have to. proceed a lot' further in that direction —deal with the road hogs and others tw^ o . should not.-be in charge of mo.tor vehicles,” said Mr. Coulter. “But we can safely leave that to Bob. Semple,” he .added.;,, •> ' i ' - “.In Mr./Semple, we Minister of Public Works who is the best Minister of Public Works we have ever had,” declared Mr. Coulter. “He is a man who has spent; a lifetime in this class of work.” Criticising; the action of the former administration in slowing down public works, Mr. Coulter said : “ We had the men and the material, and because we did not have the pieces of paper the public works were closed down.” Mr Semple was completing several railway lines which could have been completed in the past few years with the idle man power that had been used on relief schemes. ;
