Mr. Milton Mordson, auctioneer, reports that the following were some of the prices realised at last Wednesday’s sale: New potatoes, 5s and 6s hag; seed potatoes, 2s and 3s bag; cabbageg r 4d ind 6d each; rhubarb, 3d and 4d bundle; Delicious apples, first grade, 10s case; gooseberries, . 3d and 4d pound; strawberries, best Is 9d, others 6d’ and Is 6d, per chip. Poultry was in demand, but in short supply; laying hens,' 2s and 3s 3d; roosters, 2s 6d and 3s 6d; cockerels./ 6d and Is Id; laying ducks, 2s 6d; killing hens, Is 6d and 2s; killing ducks, Is Id and 2s; turkey hens, 4s and 5s 6d; turlcey gobblers, 7s and 12s.
