CAR LEAVES ROAD.
MOTORISTS’ NARROW ESCAPE. A narrow escape from serious injuries were experienced by Mr. A. W. Vincent and his son, both residents of Lichfield, on Saturday. They were motoring from Cambridge when just before reaching Tirau the car struck an oostacle and left the road turning a complete somersault. Both the occupants were thrown out and they were fortunate in escaping wiffh a severe shaking. They were .able to proceed to their homes. The car, though driven into Putaruru under its own power, was somewhat extensively damaged.
