The monthly meeting of the Red Cross Society was held in the Mackenzie Hall on Thursday last when Mrs W. A. Anderson presided over an excellent attendance. A proposal that an emergency box be prepared for local use was discussed at some length. It was, decided that the money raised by the proposed trip on the Barnslaw. to be advertised Later. _be devoted to this peace-time activity.
