LYTTELTON REGATTA.

With the approach of Regatta Day, several visiting boats have made their appearance in Lvttolton harbour. About half a dozen launches arrived last week, together with a yacht or two, while tho yachts Alma and Te Arai and the motor-boat Pastime, put 111 an appearance on Monday morning. Several more should arrive during the next day or two. The hydroplane Lira, which it is understood will in future make Lytte ton her homo port, is due now, and the other throe entrants in tho speed event, White Witch, Disturber and Enquirer, Hhould arrivo very soofi. Owing to the laTgo number of entries in tho rowing events, slight alterations have boon made iu the morning" programme.
