Asked to-day if tho Tai Tapu Co-operative Dairy Co., Ltd., h»d commenced operations in Christehurch, Mr H. E. Peryman, Chairman of Directors, stated that the company commenced t» receive Cream at Christehurch on th© Ist inst.

Mr Peryman stated that many dairy farmers had b«en inquiring if tho company proposed having an official opening, and ho would like to inform those interested that the company proposed to have, at a later date, an Inspection Day, to which all dairy farmers would bo invited.

Mr Peryman further stated that the collection of Cream was being undertaken by th© company in many districts, and in those districts not suitable for cream collection, the cream had to be forwarded bv rail. As it was impossible-for the Manager or tho Directors to visit all districts before tho opening of the season, he would like to assure Dairy Farmers that it wa3 not from lack of desiro that they wore not waited on by representatives of this company, but we would be glad to welcome them all as suppliers, and would ask those in areas wliere cartage was not being undertaken to rail their Cream, consigned Tai Tapu Dairy Co., Christehurch.
