WAGES CONDITIONS. DISSATISFACTION IN SERVICE. DUNEDIN, Alarch 9. A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Railway Officers’ Institute was held to-night "to consider the recommendations of the chairman, of.the Railway AY’ages Inquiry Board on the claims submitted to the board by the institute at the beginning of last month. A series of resolutions, expressing the institute’s disapproval of Air Justice Stringer’s recommendations, were passed and ordered to be submitted! to the Minister of Railways and the General Alanager.
