MEETINGS OF SOCIETIES.
The Lyttelton Fire Brigade played a return euchre and cribbage match against Railway Employees at the casual railway workers social hall on Saturday evening. Fire Brigade winning by 57 games to 38. After the match a social gathering was held, and Messrs J. Charles, H. Holder, G. Lester, .1. Groves, W. Carson and others contributed musical items. _■
