Tho Prisons Report shows that in 1915 the prisoners sentenced totalled 64,00 d, compared with 114,000 in 1914. The decrease is ascribed to tho enlistment of habitual petty offenders and to liquor restrictions.

Tho Government is controlling the prices of all frozen meat. The bulk of it is going to tho front. A modicum of Australian meat is available for the public.
