QUEEN Of THE NORTH.
RAXGIOKA. A cood start was made at Rangiora o.i Saturday night with the Queen of the North election campaign. The Mayor and the chairman of the Coitntv Council addressed a s'treet croud and after referring to the steps taken to elect a queen, bespoke for her the loyal support of the town and neighbourhood. The sale of ribbon badges was undertaken by a, number of enthusiasts and it was not long before a majority of those in the crowd were wearing the colours of No. 0 Queen (red and gold).
