Foster, of the '■ Lyttelton district, and P.G.'s Brothers Bell, Leader, Scott and Brother Ralph, ■N.G. Brother Ryder and V.G. Brother '"Crocker, of the adult Lodge, paid a "visit. The sentiments of the evening "were given by G.M. Brother S. Toomey, ..~N.G. Brother A. M'Cormick and E.S. /Brother M'Neilie. Songs were contributed by Brothers Ralph, Graham, Bell, Scott, Crocker and Harkess, and a ;■ recitation bv N.G. Brother Ryder.' IP.G.M..Brother W.- T. Foster, in reply ijjtp the third sentiments, supplied some information to members. Bro- " thers Ryder and Crocker offered to give for a shooting match. ~',.. The Court Star of Canterbury AnJjrpient Order of Foresters met last M on ~ .tday, Brother C. Higgott. Chief Ranger, ./being in the chair. Brother C. Cooper. .: District Secretary, forwarded a copy of ..-the revised court rules. Dr J. C. Pair•,man was elected as medical officer in i.-place of Dr Fleming, who through ill—.■health was unable to fill the position. .'Regarding the United Friendly Card it was decided to combine •".jwith Court Thistle of the Forest and '-■enter a team to be called the Foresters' Combined Team.
