Sir.—lf town planning has come to stay, and it surely has, then it is certain that Christchurch is laAlng down road* which its future citizens will have to dig-up again.. This' is YegfeUahle and .the sooner a knowledge ot' the science of town planning becomes general the better:for flip ratepayer. No newspaper report could do anything like justice to the lecture delivered on Wednesday night by our distinguished visitor, and yet the attendance was miserably, small.' Surely the ratepayers will be enough alive to their own interests to pack-the halls when the subject ..is. next discussed by visitors from England.—l am, etc.,
