WAINUI OVERDUE. United Press Association—By Elcctrio Telegraph—Copyright. HOBART, Juno 14. Tho "vVainui is now a week out from Hobart to Stralian. Tho weather has been very bad, and it is supposed that the vessel is sheltering- at Port Davey, with which no communication exists. The steamer Karori will leave to-day for Port Davey with carrier pigeons, and word will be sent back if tho Wainui is found there. WRECK OF A BARQUE. NOUMEA, June 14. Tho Norwegian barque Turist, bound from Rio Grande to Surprise Island, drifted ashore near Dumbea Point, while waiting orders, and became a total wreck. Tho crew reached hero safely. The coastal steamer Energy, bound from Auckland to Kawau, was picked up this aftornoon by tho Kotiti in the Wangaparau Passage with a broken tail shaft, and was towed into port tonight.
