CRICKET.
[Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 24. The local Criokeb Association has decided to introduce district cricket by seventeen votes to sixteen. Strong opposition was shown on behalf of a number of clubs that will disappear, and opinion is unsettled as to the proposed allocation of districts. On the other hand, it is admitted generally that the game needed some change to give it a fillip.
