Webb to row for . the world’s championship for £SOO a. side, has definitely decided that the matoh shall be rowed at Wanganui, the idea of holding it at Akaroa being abandoned in view of the risk of rough and cold weather. Arnst will proceed to Wellington by the s.s. Woikare, and will go on to Wanganui on Monday. His brother, J. Arnst, journeyed to Akaroa last night to arrange for the shipping of all the boats to. Wanganui, and ne and Fogwoll, R. Arnst’s trainer, will accompany the boats to Wanganui. While returning from Dunedin m a motor-car on Thursday, after pacing his brother in his successful attempt on the Christchurcli-Dunedin cycling record, R. Arnst caught a severe cold, the side of his face being affected and his throat inflamed. Acting on medical advice, he has spent the last few days in bed, and was sufficiently recovered to get up yesterday. He anticipates that he will be perfectly recovered within a day or two. Arrangements have been made for the champion to occupy the same training grounds at Wanganui as on the previous occasion.
