Four ot the men were arrested, and they and another will bo called to answer tire charges at the Magistrate’s Court at Lyttelton this morning. The charges arise out of the conduct of the men since the vessel has been in port-. They ha ve asserted that they will not go to sea in the Cambusdoon, on account of her alleged uuseaworthiness, and have been and staying ashore in a happy-go-lucky manner. On Wednesday morning the men asked leave to go ashore to see the shipping master, and it is compulsory that such a. request shall be acceded to. They went ashore, hut, it is alleged, thoy stayed ashore instead of returning to their work on board, and that misdemeanour precipitated the action that has been taken. The vessel is thorefoie relieved from detentiou.
